TechFair 2008

At TechFair 2008, NMR had various types of displays ranging in size from 15-inch LCD’s to 103-inch plasmas. As the exclusive US rental provider for Simbioz, NMR had the FS series, a 46-inch touch-less interactive LCD display, available for demonstration and participation. With an integrated sound system and 3-D display capabilities, the FS series has advanced interactivity by detecting hand gestures. Applying this same technology to the industry’s largest plasma, the Panasonic 103-inch sprang to life exuding amazing 3-D manipulation without making contact with the enormous screen. The Speaker Demo room allowed the listener to experience a wide variety of audio systems and speakers. The WinVision 1875, a modular, see-thru LED wall, made its debut at the Tech Fair. LED thrived as the Versa Tiles on the walls, the Versa Tubes on the roof, and the Chroma Q lit bar wowed the clients. Flown above the bar area was an Orion 4220 Seamless Plasma 3 x 2 wall, donning the newest and coolest slim profile brackets. The new 4220’s are frameless, customizable, and are equipped with an anti-glare coating. The Staging division demonstrated a 16 x 9 two screen blend, 16 x 9 HD digital projection, NEXO GEO D speakers, and Robe moving lights to function as a General Session. They also had a full stage set up with lighting, audio, video equipment, and even Robo-Cams so that one could view the live action on the two screen blend.
