Live Events Project Manager

Position Overview

  • The Project Manager is responsible for planning and pre-production of an event and to then travel on site to ensure flawless execution

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The Project Manager must assume primary responsibility for the success of the events that they manage.

  • The Project Manager will assure that the expectations of the client are met while best utilizing the resources of the company. The Project Manager must work with Operations to ensure that all resources needed for the Event are prepared for deployment.

  • The Project Manager is the primary on-site event manager. They supervise the load-in, set-up, and system completion for each of their events from start to finish. This position will require review of the event agenda, arrange rehearsals and fine tune all event details with the client and all appropriate parties needed to ensure a flawless event.

  • Once the event begins, they work to guarantee quality control and crew management to ensure all client expectations are met. At the end of the event, they supervise the strike and load-out. In most cases the Project Manager will not have a specific job on-site and they will dedicate their time to managing the event, making sure that the company’s performance exceeds client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Individuals qualifying for this position will have a blend of technical, organizational, interpersonal, and management skills.

  • They must have a wide variety of basic knowledge in audio, video, lighting, staging and overall sense of vision to complete a successful event.

  • They must have the organizational skills to establish schedules and work flows to efficiently manage a job.

  • Must be open to fluctuation of the work schedules and event calendar.

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Salary: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year

  • Travel: Travel is a must (Amount is not a predetermined factor)
